philip! i must say.. you have inspired me! i've been thinking a lot lately and doing some light research about the black panther party, because i can't help but to question and want to debunk the white man's history. and wow.. assata shakur's story is a powerful one. i heard her story, and like she said.. we must be the voice for the voiceless. so my research will continue.
i ordered a book called agents of repression. it's about the FBI and all the crooked things they did to disempower the movement and also the immoral atrocities they commited against individuals. and you are more than welcome to borrow it when i'm done.
also.. don't you find it odd that so many people listen to tupac, but have no idea about his god mother and her story? they certainly have done their best to try and silence her.
