Try so hard to be like me

Now that finals are over, I'm getting some great productive non-school-related work done. It feels great! My apartment has been thoroughly cleaned, I've purchased groceries for next week, I went to Joann Fabrics and fixed Douglas up (yes, he has both hands again! I'm so proud of myself! Thanks to Mela and Batchix for the hints, I'm totally sold ( Read more... )

I often don't get stress-sick until after I think I've calmed down, which is really annoying. But I think it probably has to do with being too stressed out to be sick while you're stressing, and then your body sort of lets its guard down a bit once you think you're doing better. Ugh. Take care of you!

The way in which I'm getting sick is a new reaction to stress for me :( I used to get sinus symptoms, and then I changed into bacterial infections, and now I'm at nausea. That's why I didn't peg it as stress at first, since I'm used to different problems. Stupid stress. Go away! I'm still stressed about job stuff, I think, which is probably a major cause. I need to just learn to relax and not worry, but if I haven't learned that in the last 24 years, how can I learn it now?

Stress and then the lack of massive stress always makes my body do strange things too, like getting sick the day after Nutcracker. It didn't even wait 24 hours!

Take care of yourself though!

Oh and are you going to be in DC this Friday or Saturday?

It sucks that you got sick too! You could be right about the reaction to a sudden lack of stress.

I'm leaving on Friday :( I have a job interview in NJ, and then I'm going to my parents' house in PA.

What time Friday? Because I will be passing through DC that Friday.

Oh and I want to see pictures of the top when you are done!

How is the weather down there by the way?

I'm leaving here around 10 am because I don't know where exactly this interview is :( I may leave even earlier and meet Josh for breakfast beforehand, I don't know. I wish I could see you!!! I've seen pictures from Nutcracker, but I haven't heard any details.

It's cold here, but it's rainy instead of snow or ice. Be careful in PA, they were supposed to get a lot of ice.

I'll take some pictures! I'm excited about it! I'm going to work on it when I get home from break in January.

Stress?

What you needs is more Avatar.

BTW: Bloodbending is *creepy*, and I'm amazed they did that. I honestly thought that something like that would be too dark for a kids show.
