Write a little paragraph about your name, why you chose it, what it means to you, etc.Well, it's a long and rather lame story....but if you insist

my family doesn't know about this blog either, and neither do most of my friends. they probably wouldn't be interested in costume rambling, and would add it to the list of "reasons why sarah is weird." probably the top of the list. and a lot of my friends are male, so they'd be extra bored with it. so I definitely understand in that regard.
my family is g-rated, too. when he was in high school, my brother decided to introduce the word "damn" into our vernacular. so, over dinner, he would say things like "please pass the damn salt." I guess we're slowly becoming less g-rated.
I love to hear the boy talk! in addition to hearing about your miles and miles of sewing progress, of course. :)
It's the same with me! Most of my undergrad friends are guys too, and 3.5-3 years older (mostly seniors from my frosh dorm). Somehow I can't imagine a bunch of 28 (Aaack! I'm SO OLD!) year old guys being really excited about my embroidery. None of my female undergrad friends know about this blog either and would find it strange if I told them about it. They're all East Coast investment bankers.
My family is champion with the swearing, but so awkward with love/romance. None of us are physically demonstrative and discussing boys with my parents creates a vibe that is CREEPY BEYOND COMPREHENSION. So. many. awkard pauses. I dunno why. It's kind of funny ("ha-ha" funny). It's like some wierd sitcom.
Never fear! I guarantee you I'll continue to very publicly go through my second adolescence on LiveJournal. And yes, I am a ball of FIRE when it comes to sewing. ;)
Yeah, it's kind of cool (although you are randomly assigned to a dorm freshman year). It's a very uniting experience, actually. But there's so much drama when it comes to picking draw groups. Seriously.
Ha ha! Well, you can't do much living through me. *I* don't even do much living through me! ;)
Most of the people that read my journal are local people that I know, and I've got multiple filter sets to help keep the peace. I've told my mom about my journal, and she has it bookmarked. Since she doesn't have an LJ account, though, anything that's friends locked isn't going to come up when I visit with her.

But I figure if they find out, it won't be the end of the world. It'll just be the beginning of friends-locking. :)

I swear you mentioned it before! But even if you hadn't, I think it's not too obscure. ;)
