I'd argue that their job is not to be good people but to accurately represent the will and benefit of the people and therefore their personal lives, so long as they are not committing grievous crimes against the communities they are bound and sworn to serve, are none of our damn business. If a man says one thing but does another, so long as he is expressing the will of his constituents I can not lay blame on him even if I disagree with his hypocrisy. Now, if he fails to even maintain the ability to represent his people (I'm looking at you, Mister President) and issues contradictory political statements and actions, -that- form of hypocrisy directly affects his ability to represent the people of the state and he is made of fail
