Haha. I've done my best to avoid House of Leaves, due to all the mixed things I've heard, and my intense lack of personal free time.

Just spend a day or two with it. It's not a very good read at all, but a surprisingly quick one, particularly if you skip the "OMG LOOK HOW POSTMODERN I AM" footnotes.

Yeah, it's pretty decent. I find Tom Robbins novels to be pure brain-candy, but he's fun to read. Also try Another Roadside Attraction maybe.
