[ Aziraphale is a little upset with her comment about angels, but he would never admit it. Instead he replies with a video, his glasses on and obviously prepared to quite quite a lecture on the literature of Poe. ]

Poe - a nice choice, I must say.

To 'love more than love' is a difficult concept, but it's possible to regard it as being an eternal love, something that won't end. Perhaps, because they are young, it is an innocent love that is stronger and more powerful than the tainted love of adults. Her thoughts on love are, perhaps, not literal; perhaps Poe merely meant that her mind was obsessed with her affection for him and nothing else served as much entertainment.

[ He shakes his head a little. ]

As for Poe's commentry on angels - really, he was rather off the mark on that one. They care rather a lot for humans.

Alucard recommended him. There are others, of course, but I decided on this one for an attempt at analysis. However...

[A bit of a chuckle. We've seen how that goes. And instead, she ends up with a lecture. One that seems so obvious she feels like a complete idiot. She sighs, then reaches up to rub her temples.]

...It seems that I really am not cut out for this. All of those answers seem obvious now that you've mentioned them. And as for angels... I'm afraid the closest encounter I've had with one is my brother, but I'm not quite sure he would count.

Poe is a good choice; his works are very popular. If you enjoy his poetry might I suggest another? Robert Browning's poetry often develops the same macabre theme, most certainly in Porphyria's Lover and My Last Duchess. I'm sure you'd enjoy them.

[ He doesn't mean to be a literature nerd but, really, he can't help it. It's not like his friends are big on poetry and after his bookshop burned down he's been feeling quite nostalgic about older poetic works. ]

I shouldn't worry about your analysis, my dear - your points were valid. I was merely hoping to help answer your questions.

[ Pause. ]

Your brother is an angel?

I'm afraid I know little to nothing about poetry. A man named Alucard suggested Poe among others for me to read. Either way, I thank you for answering my questions. Perhaps some day soon I'll be able to analyze without making a complete fool of myself.

[And then he asks about her brother. Ah, this is going to be a tad awkward. How to explain it...? ...Best to be vague.]

...We had some trouble with the AI within a video game. He eventually injected himself into said game, where he was essentially a god. His appearance took on something similar to what is seen in angel mythos.
