WELL to be fair, this started off as me sketching on top of a Sam screencap at low opacity because I really, really need to get a handle on drawing realistic faces? But then I liked what I was getting, so I got rid of the original Sam cap and kept erasing and redrawing and by the time I was done and compared it to the original cap, it was so different that I felt okay calling it my own doodle.

I see nothing wrong with that. I really need to get a handle on drawing realistically as well. Copying/sketching on top of screencaps is excellent practice. :3 And LIKE YOU SAID, you made it all your own and it SHOWS. I really do adore this piece.
