I stopped watching Bleach sometime in the middle of the Bound arc. Because 1) I got bored and 2) I lost my source-giver.

WELLLLLLLLLLL see, Court and I heard from our hardcore friends that the anime wasn't so great in comparison to the manga, and... it's true. >_>; I prefer manga, generally, for shounen stuff anyway, since you can speed through the battles at your own pace to get to the ones that are cool. But yeah, we watched one Grimmjow fight in the anime and it was... pretty different from the one in the manga aka COMPLETELY STUPIDIFIED AND COMPLETELY CUT OUT A PLOT POINT THAT MAKES FOR IMPORTANT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT LATER ON.

Plus, the Bount/Bound arc is total filler that's only in the anime. XD;;; But in any case, I wouldn't be surprised if you got bored with the Bleach manga too; some of those less interesting fights are SO TEDIOUS TO DRUDGE THROUGH.
