Jaeger cosplay is so close to done! Finished up the wig last night!

Woo! Pants are almost done. With the exception of the waistband and hems at the bottoms, I should be finishing them up tonight. I'll have to remember to pick up some white tights to wear beneath them because they are a little... snug up top. Heh! Guess it's a good thing I'm determined to keep up this diet and exercise stuff. Jaeger update!

The coat is done! I think that's probably going to be the hardest part. So completed are coat and earrings. Wig and pointy ears are ordered.

And all the pieces for shirt and pants are cut out.

Unless something goes horribly wrong, I think I might be able to finish this in time for AWA.

Woot! Room reserved at the Sheraton for part of AWA! It's just for the Saturday night of the con since I'm just going to be there on Saturday and Sunday. Good location - right across the street from the con center!

My little shedding queen got a haircut today. Hopefully that cuts down on Zelda's shedding problem. Even if it doesn't, she looks so much better and I think she feels a lot more comfortable. I was so tickled when the groomer lady said that Zelda was awesome during her haircut. Although I figured she would be. She is one super laid-back cat ( Read more... )

Fireworks tonight!

I'll be staying with my parents tonight, so don't look for me on Aim tonight. I'll be back sometime tomorrow. Probably around lunch-ish. I want to at least get the mock-up of Jaeger's coat done enough to wear tomorrow so I can start figuring out what changes need to be made besides cutting a foot off the length.
