I have to say OMGYES for those quotes :D I pretty much noticed the similarity from the first time I read CHAS, and probably have not stopped squee-ing over it ever since. And that was a while ago. lol.

This was all sorts of adorable, feel-good fluffiness, especially that entire last paragraph... Aww, Holmes :)

Okay, I'm just a bit in love with you right now. That was enormously lovely and evocative. I have long had a love affair with Watson's love affair with Holmes' hands (convoluted sentence is convoluted).

It's beautifully written, this, and I am folding it tenderly into memories in just a moment.
