Bwahahahaha, I loved this, Mystery Author, thank you! You totally had me going there, because I thought at last, somebody else who recognizes the fact that Labyrinth fics should involve Ludo's untimely death... only to find out that he was alive and kicking. Tsk, tsk...

I loved all the references, from P&P to the historical tidbits everywhere. Nell Gwyn! The Carpathians and vampyres! Scholomance! And if that wasn't enough, Lovecraftian giant squids, first class food pr0n, hints of deviant dwarf/fairy love, Goblin King snark, and a blood-drinking unicorn, which you don't see nearly often enough in Labyrinth fanfiction, if you ask me.

Bravo, and thank you for squeezing so much awesome into one fic, I'm grinning like a maniac. ;D

I know I already replied once, simultaneously failing the LJ aptitude test, But I'm relieved that you liked it. It was intimidating and painful in all ways, but if it made you happy, it was worth it. :)

Oh, I'm glad. I know you struggled with it, but it doesn't read like that at all. Such a fun story, and you're either an amazing observer or you did a HELL of a lot of journal stalking! Either way, thank you. ;D

Poor Sarah should have called that number quite awhile ago, LOL! What I want to know is what she'll do when she stops playing his games and has to deal with the reality of his interest in her?

This was a lovely mash-up and you really had me going there for a bit about Ludo, although I love the idea of giving a word or phrase an actual burial. That idea has real-world application potential...

Probably. Poor girl is deluding herself.

I'm glad to hear I was able to mislead you. Haha. I wasn't entirely sure I could pull off making people believe what I wanted them to believe, while at the same time not saying anything that wasn't true, and then making it all clear at the end. Tricky business.

Very clever writing - I was starting to feel a bit mentally dizzy reading it, just like a hungover Sarah probably feels every day :)

Fantastic story! (Had to get my account back just so I could comment on these properly!)

It started so dark, and then little by little, mysteries were revealed. I loved it!

Sorry to be so late commenting on this TRULY AWESOME fic. I, too, was wondering for a while there if you were the most dedicated gift writer evar and killed off Ludo to fit with DM's cannon. Such a great little treat.

I just loved pretty much everything about this; it was funny, it was adult, it was researched, it was sexy, and it makes me grumbly that all I have for lunch is a Lean Cuisine. Bravo!!

I wouldn't really do that to poor, dear Ludo. But if I made you believe that I would, then that's a good thing. ;)

Perhaps Hoggle might have some baby squid to trade for something shiny, preferably plastic?

Thanks for the lovely review!
