First, I'm kind of nervous because it's my first big sale event like this, and it's just one day. Also, my roommate's friend works at Bust and she was saying that they're expecting it to be huge.

We just got the vendor map and my table is right across from Amy Sedaris!

i'm all for craft fairs and independent artist/designers but last year the bust craft fair was a madhouse - tiny space and total chaos. keeps me and i'm sure other people away. are they in a bigger space this time?

my main complaint from last year was that it was so hot inside!

this year it's at the metropolitan pavilion in chelsea...a bigger venue I think.

I'm going to be at Yale all day for a symposium on reputation systems. I'm missing Santarchy as well.

hee! I'm excited/overwhelmed.

she's going to be signing her cookbook I think, it's the Bust Craftacular.

I'll be selling headbands (www.charmschooldesign.etsy.com) and my friend Lamia will be selling her gorgeous gloves (www.lamiadesign.com).

Craftacular IS huge! Zillions of people. Uncomfortable amounts of people. I made almost $2000 last year!

that's awesome. I stopped by on the late side last year but I think R. was watching the table for you...

did you run out of stuff? That's what I'm worried about.

I had a big mix of stuff...most of what I brought sold out. The mousepads actually went really fast. I hadn't sold mousepads the previous year, so I didn't know what to expect for sales, if I knew, I would have brought twice as many. I think I brought 25 or so.
