Oh I've missed the period patterning projects! Any chance of seeing the underpinnings on the New Look era pieces?

I don't have a photo, but they are sort of like the longer square-dance petticoats--tiers of netting/ruffles.

Ah, okay--what about the bodice structure? Horsehair and boning?

That's something to which i cannot speak. I assume they're boned bodices, though it's possible that they're draped directly on the form with the understanding that the structure would be imparted by a merry widow. But, i'm not a part of that class so i'm sorry i can't say for certain!
