Class Projects: wig/hat hybrids!

My millinery students presented projects today!

This past unit has been focused on the execution of historical hairstyle shapes and silhouettes, often using millinery infrastructures and nontraditional media (i.e., not actual wigs, frequently also not actual hair).

*squee* I'm totally behind on reading the last few of your posts, but a friend told me that I'd be all over this post since I specialize in non-traditional wigs and just posted photos of one I made this week for my new show.

here's mine.....it's dyed cotton welting. Inspired by brain coral for the dancer in Selkie, a sea tale.
