It’s been almost a week since I posted about all that snow. As it has been for a lot of places lately, it’s been bloody cold here! I got my bread baked on Friday and then on Saturday I made dinner rolls but I forgot about them and they did the second proof for about twice as long as they should have. Brian and I love clam chowder. But I'm sorry, I will not be putting corn in mine. ;) There's a place here that does a really awesome She-Crab Soup. Mmmmm. Anyway.

Aww. Cute. My roommate is moving out on Saturday and taking his cats. I think the last time I lived in a house without a furry animal was when I was 10. So I'm doing my best to convince Brian that we need to get a kitty or puppy.

It's cold here, too. And snowing. So far today it's up to 33F, but it's supposed to get warmer. Then windier and very rainy. I love my heat pump, but it really can't get it done when it's this cold. It's only up to 66 in the house with the heat pump running constantly.

I'm starting to think about Mexico ;)
