I haven't commented before now, but I just wanted to say how much I'm loving this fic. I read the first 5 chapters in one hit the other day, and I've been hanging out for you to post more. Turlough was never one of my favourite characters, but I like your Turlough, and I love this dynamic with Five. You paint them both so vividly I can see them in my mind while I read. Can't wait for you to post more! =) *gives cookie*

*snarfs cookie* Mm, thanks. Honestly, Turlough escaped my attention for ages as well. I was reintroduced to him via uktechgirl's Five/Turlough ship manifesto. It's brilliant.

He's the kind of naughty evil you can live with.

Yeah, on the face of it you'd never think of Five as dominant, but re-watching some of his adventures there are these times when he slows down, looks directly at who he's speaking to and adopts this tone that seems to say "Yes, I'm well aware of going on. I -am- the Doctor. You ought to remember what that means." Which speaks to me of a quiet dominance that is exerted only when he needs it.
