At this rate, I'm never going to get "The Hellbound Train" transferred from LP to CD in order to make my CD of Iliad songs, so I'm going to go ahead and post the song list, with brief descriptions. Enjoy.
Thanks! I don't know "Bring down the Hammer" (my pop music knowledge is sadly lacking), but it sounds like a good choice from the title:) My original song for book 18 was "Strange Machines" by The Gathering, which was, well, strange. But I found that for an hour and 15 min. or so of music, a lot of the books that dealt mainly with the gods or secondary characters' battling detracted from the overall flow of the sequence. In the poem itself, all that is important as "comic relief" (tension relief), but in a more compressed format, I decided to just edit some stuff out.
I'm glad you like Lorenna for book 10. I spent a lot of time debating that one. Most of the words don't fit, but I like the feel, especially as a transitional song between one day and the next.
