What made me post the comment is the fact that we've actually never talked with each other, or at least I don't recall that (sorry!), and responding to a stranger's question might be somehow easier. I don't know if you find my response interesting or trivial, but yes, I would like to play the game, if you found some time to continue it. I'll be off from Friday to Sunday morning, so there's no hurry...

Yes, we really haven't talked! Okay, so based on your profile, let me ask you some questions...

1) What is it about Misora Naomi that interests you in particular?

2) To get broader, what characteristics make you like a manga/anime in general?

3) Story behind your user name?

4) What is it about the Middle Ages that interests you?

5) Oo: Les Misérables: favorite character and why.

Hmm, Labingi-san, I was wondering why you leave Kuwabara-sensei out of your inspiration sources?
Even though Mirage could hardly be considered high literature, I find one thing about it totally fascinating: the way she literaly constructs a perfect romance on the background of pseudo-historical fantasy, the way she makes every bit ever more complicated, twisted and generally more painfull than the readers expect.

That's a very good question. Hm, let me think. One reason I didn't mention it is that the question asked about "books," and I think of MoB as more a "story" than a "book." My specific experience of the books comes from reading pieces in fan translation. That experience tells me a lot of what I find most fascinating about MoB, but my MoB experience is also caught up with the anime, fan fic, fan commentary, etc. And I don't get the "real" experience of the books because I can't read them straight through and I can't read them in the original, so the total "work of art" is inaccessible to me ( ... )
