In the ultimate in nerddom cliches...my high-school's Shakespeare club raised money for a trip to Wellington (and the good ol Sheila Winn festival) by cleaning up Rugby park in Hamilton after a Friday night game. Was a memorable experience to say the least.

Time-honoured Kiwi tradition and way of ripping people off! My family did this to raise money for my sister's kapa haka's trip to Hawai'i and it's really kind of shocking the buck they get for their bang, so to speak.

Good old Sheila Winn! Many fond memories.

The Flyers game today sounded crazy. The one thing that kept them sort of in the game ... Bryz! Oh, Flyers. I hope you get angry about that loss and start scoring points. And I'm not worrying about the Rangers ... I'm not. Silly Ovie.
