The only books that have ever messed with me are Sohpie's World, When The Wind Blows and The Twits. The latter two were when I was very small, so I guess they don't count,

Ooo, When the Wind Blows, good book. Hmm, similar vein, I totally should have put in Z for Zachariah.

Fat chips absorb less oil because they have less surface area compared to volume.

*snerk* Yeah, that was her argument.

I don't believe in maths. :P

No, seriously, you have to cook them for longer so they get super-saturated or. uh. Something.

Weridly enough, I actually agree with most of your list - whaa does that say aout our reading material? The only one that didn't have an effect was the eddings - I think I read it later than you. And to the Giver and A Handmaid's Tale I'd add A Brave New World ny Huxley.

Yeah, I read that particular Eddings in an unusual situation- it was on my grandmother's bookshelf withdrawn from some library. I have no idea where she got it from, but I think that's why I read the elenium first, whereas both you and Lucy- I think- read the Belgariad first.

PS: I haven't read A brave new world. I know I should. What's it like?

Yeah, 4's just... embarassing. ;) It's less that I have few coversations in real life, and more that I have lots of MSN conversations. :P I'm not a total reject, or anything.:P
