I have a lot to say today on three different topics.

1) Sometimes I feel as though I have so many different interests that I can't keep up with them all, and I end up feeling that I'm halfway good at a lot of things but not really good at anything. )I forgot you were doing Debbie's ketubah! So cool.
2)The one thing I would like to do is whitewater rafting. I guess I settle for waterpark rides. :)

Joint Bank Accounts and more anonymous July 16 2008, 00:12:44 UTC
Abby
UIF you and Jeff have an account in the Bank called Joint account. The Limit on the money issures is 100K per account, and if you have multiple account at the same bank ,you are NOt isssured. SO if you have 100k in your name only, and Jeff has 100 k in his name only .YOu and Jeff are both insured for the 200k by FDIC. IF you and Jeff have 200K in one joint account ,you are not issued on the other 100K.Sounds confusing but iti is true.Alot of people will be out of their money at INdyMac. The damage is much worse than reported on the news and other banks are in serious trouble with Bad Loans. I am interested in you and Jefs Romantic weekend. I always make a list of things I want ot accomplish, but I never seem to complete what is listed.Something always comes up.

No, apparently it's $100,000 per person, not per account. So if you each have an account for $100,000, it's the same as having a joint account for $200,000 ( ... )
