Sales Reps

Is it my imagination or do sales reps, more often than not, suck?  When you need to talk to them they don't return calls or emails.  When you don't need to talk to them they interrupt whatever you're doing in the lab.

I should say yes, but earlier this week one showed up to take my group out to lunch on a day when I had a leftovers fail (and thus no lunch), so I'm feeling oddly kindly toward them at the moment ;P.

One promised us all lunch for taking nearly a year to deliver the special sparkly incubators we ordered. Still hasn't returned calls asking where said incubators are. FOUR incubators.

Wow, that's awful! Free lunch entirely doesn't make up for that sort of shenanigans. Incubators ain't cheap. I hope they manage to pull their heads out of their asses long enough to get them to you.

Never mind Sales Reps. Bloody Instrument Reps are driving me MAD at the moment. They are supposed to know MORE about the instrument than you. Not LESS.

And it would be nice if they answered our calls.
