How do I tell my parents that I changed my major? When do I tell them? Just now my father said that he went to have this mole on his back removed and talked to this Physician's Assistant that was working who happened to be in his clinicals at UK. My father told him that I was in Nursing and he said that his fiancee had just graduated from Nursing

i would suggest something devious, but i know it wouldn't work with you.
not because you're not devious but because the situation is a bit different.

i have this friend at uni, and during re-enrollment you have to print out a copy of your results, very straight forward.
we were all looking at each others and i thought hers was set out a bit oddly.
it was only after awhile that i realised that in the 3 semesters we've been to uni, she's been in THREE different courses.

i said to her "do you tell your parents?"
and she said, "nope, they'll find out when i graduate". hahahahhah

Something devious, eh? I don't think that would have gone over well with my parents!

Woah, she's planning on waiting until she graduates for her parents to find out? There's no way I would have been able to last that long. Little things would seep out--like my parents finding out they had to pay for certain course materials and then asking me how clinicals were going... it's not like I could lie!

And I shall live the dream. Just because it's not what my parents are expecting doesn't mean I shouldn't live it!
