Union Square Farmers' Market Goody and Other Little Victories

I have found no-salt goat cheese at the Union Square Farmers' Market yesterday.  It is from a farm called Lynnhaven in Pine Bush, New York.  I tried the cheese today, spread over whole wheat toast with sugar free raspberry preserves, lightly sprinkled with chopped walnuts.  I think I shall become a steady customer, and try some of the flavored ( Read more... )

The co-op is on 35th Avenue between 88th and 89th streets in Queens. The flea market will be the 22nd on the avenue itself, and wrap around the corners into the streets a little, too.

Sugar free because I'm watching my sugar intake. I am not diabetic, so far, but have no wish to become so, and I know that on my mother's side I am predisposed to it.
