2. Do dishes
3. Clean refrigerator
4. Do laundry
5. Do some grocery shopping
6. Bathe my steeenky self
Do you know how difficult it is to do any of those WHEN THERE IS NO HOT WATER AND NOW NO RUNNING WATER AT ALL in your apartment?

I've been thinking about you! I went to an sf con in Northampton and didn't make it to the shoe museum but thought about your relatives since I was there. And then I had a sweet young Mt. Holyoke recent grad come over to house sit, only it didn't prove necessary, and in various very superficial ways (curly brown corkscrews!) she reminds me of you. So you have been in my life, even if hot water has not been in yours.
