I liked the premiere of The Mentalist. I didn't like a lot the last season and I hope that this one will be better. I need more episodes about Red John!!! Van Pelt and Rigsby are born to be together *.*
I agree it would be so stupid to be so secretive because of Naomi. She should get over it, she is divorced from him, it didn't work out when they tried again so there is no reason to be so weird about it.
I think it's hard to find the balanace between normal cases and Red John related cases, because there has to be the time when they catch him and I'm not sure if there will be more Mentalist after that, for me it's all about Patrick getting closer to Red John step by step.
