Erik was unaware of the professor's other concerns at the moment, obviously. He knew nothing of this Noah, nor Tony for that matter. Even if they knew things about him. He wouldn't be too pleased when he found that out; that humans had information on him and that his once-friend-now-enemy gave it to them so readily. That was not the problem at hand though. No, there was something else that needed to be discussed. The issues that he had been dealing with these past couple weeks, the fact that things were left unsaid and unfinished in the wake of the beach incident.

Finding the mansion was a fairly difficult task in a city where he knew nothing. No distinct locations or anything, but eventually he and Raven found the familiar building. The same building they had spent countless days in, training and bonding with the other mutants there. To think that once upon a time he was living here, teaching, almost forgetting what he had come to do ( ... )

Unlike the two most important men in her life, Raven was actually brightly smiling as the pair strolled through this strange dream city towards what could be a potentially awkward reunion between both dear friends and close family. Yes, Erik and her had left Charles in a rush while he was no doubt at his lowest possible peek in life (betrayed by his 'loyal' humans and shot in the back), but the telepath had known it was the only possible way they could both be happy, hadn't he? Charles had understood them, he had to. So why wouldn't he welcome the two of them back with open arms as if nothing had changed? Opposite sides of the battlefield or not, they all still cared for and respected each other.

A street here and a street there, and then there it was. The Xavier Mansion in all it's great glory before them. Erik would likely hear a soft, barely noticeable sigh of relief at his side.

It was home. Raven was finally homeSince that day she'd taken Erik's hand and left her wounded brother in Moria's tender care, the young woman had never ( ... )

He winced at the way she shouted his name, lowering his head as he rubbed his forehead. Well, that certainly didn't help matters, now did it? He sighed and looked back up at the two, his expression blank as his gaze shifted between them. He wasn't put off by Raven's natural blue form, after all that was who she was and how he met her. Erik's attire though.... Charles decided to ignore the helmet that he glared at, but looked at the cape.

"I see the two of you found the mansion without much trouble. That's good, isn't it?" He said instead of pointing out how horrendous the cape was. He leaned himself back against the wheelchair, ignoring the fact that it was there. "It's rather easy to find, I suppose, given the two of you know the building so well."

Charles looked between the two of them again. After a moment he gestured up to the second floor with his fingers. "Your things are still here, given you left them before we went to stop Shaw."

Raven had spoken for him really. Because that was pretty much the reaction he had when he saw the wheelchair. A pang of guilt shot through him because he knew it was his fault. If he hadn't been so careless he wouldn't have deflected that bullet where he did, he wouldn't have apparently paralyzed his friend. He didn't know and not knowing was probably the worst part. Well, other than finding out the way he just did ( ... )
