Who: Noah Morgan & Charles Xavier What: Noah sneaking around after she loses her sense of touch for betraying the royalty. Oops. Where: Xavier Mansion When: 23rd. After Tony read the note she left him. Warnings: IDK CUTE SHIT. I:
Charles had fortunately been out when Noah arrived. He had heard about Tony's resistance meeting, and while he was effectively useless in most respects (or so he thought), he wanted his support to be known. After talking with several he knew, mainly Mei and Colonel Mustang, he returned from Lioriley's forest. Honestly, Charles was going to be glad when Tony finished the motorized wheelchair. Blistering hands from rolling everywhere wasn't a fact he preferred to share.
He wheeled himself into the mansion and the first thing that caught his attention were the thoughts coming from the kitchen. He cautiously made his way through the hallway, stopping to pick up a discarded mask that was on the ground. His eyes darted back to the kitchen after noticing the broken vase, prepared to bombard the mind of whoever it was with about ten questions at once, most pertaining to: Why are you in my kitchen?

Jumping in surprise was kind of hilarious, honestly. Because she didn't even know she had done it, and ended up smacking her hand against the counter. The only way she even noticed that was because she had looked down and caught herself. At least her brain was still intact so she could relay messages to her arms and legs to keep her from falling all over herself. But this was so different that it was throwing everything off

He sighed at her jump and leaned forward as if he could stop her from hitting the counter, but being in the doorway and remembering he was paralyzed stop that right away. Instead he settled himself back in and put his hands on the wheels, moving himself forward into the room to close the fridge door she had left open.
Then he looked up at her with a frown. There was a difference between keeping personal things to oneself and keeping secrets. She trusted him in her mind, but when he could tell there was being something kept from him? It made him uneasy and he worried, probably more than he needed to. He was going to play it off as he didn't notice

She just stayed where she was, not trusting herself to move away from the counter just yet, because she knew she wouldn't be able to walk straight. Saying she had been drinking probably would have been the best option, but she just admitted she had gotten out of work - as vague as that could be, because nobody actually knew where she worked. It's not like she got drunk for a living though. That would have been nice and convenient
