[Well, this is... not where he was before. Granted, he also never knew where he was going either considering what he last remembered but still, not the point. Point is, he's in a room with a mirror showing Greece and no way to get there. Next best thing? See if anyone is here that he knows.
[There's a look about as other doors along the road open slightly, and warm faces greet back once everyone realizes who it is.]
Good morning, Zack. Playing hero again?
[No mentioning of how they know him or what he does, just a warm smile, a friendly nod, and some laughter among the older folk. When all this is said and done, they attend to their normal chores, and go about their daily lives. It's almost like some scene out of a dream or movie.]
Playing he-what? [He tilted his head and looked at all the unfamiliar faces. He wasn't "playing" hero, he was going to be one! And secondly... how did they all know him?] Hey, how do you all know my name?
[If you choose to venture outside, you'll be prompted to place on your mask before going (at least during the day). Those who break this law will find themselves in severe trouble if they don't hastily take back their actions. Before you lies a road, one that seems almost impossible in its length, and along it are the homes of many of the other residents. People are outside, and some may even greet you with a nod of the head, or a bright smile and a handshake. There might even be some who know your name, and say you've always been here

NIGHT ; Hope Estheim: FFXIIIescapedpandoraJanuary 8 2011, 05:18:50 UTC
Hope was sure that he had just closed his eyes for a moment-- just a moment to rest in between all the fighting and battles everywhere, before he opened them again and realized that he wasn't where he was supposed to be.
It wasn't so much the fact that it was all of a sudden dark and a different place, but the screaming had stopped and the smell of fires and burning flesh wasn't itching his nose anymore.
He scrambled up immediately, standing to attention and opening his mouth to call out for his friends, but-- it took a moment for him to realize that no sound would come out. He raised a hand to his throat, now trying to screaming out the names with no effect.
What-- what was going on? Where was he? As calm as this place was in comparison to where he was before, it was unnerving to suddenly end up here, and-- his voice.
By nightfall, Fang had gotten used to being in this place.
Well. As about as used to one can be when they're suddenly torn out of their own world and placed here.
She'd been studying the areas and mostly kept to herself, slipping along where she could, seeing if there was a familiar face about. Which was kind of hard to do, especially with the masks on everyone's face and the odd stares from before.
But wandering along now, somehow seeing that familiar orange top jacket made her smirk ever so slightly. So she approaches him, and while she can't talk (oh how she found that one out fast- she tried snarking at some stupid idiot to go flirt with someone else, only to find it wasn't exactly working.), she'll gently place a hand on his shoulder as to... well, try not to scare him. But who knows how that will turn out in a place like this.
He twisted around the moment he felt a hand on his shoulder, tensing up for a moment and feeling the swell of magic respond to his panic, before seeing--
Fang!
It was an almost immediately relief to see someone he recognized, and he opened his mouth to ask countless questions about where they were, what had happened, and more importantly (despite it being ridiculously redundant) if she knew what had happened to his voice.
But in the end, he couldn't even make the strangled noise to show his irritation at being muted, and instead tugged on her wrist and attempted to make extravagant gestures, hoping she'd understand what he was asking..
[The gardens are a mystic place, just outside the King and Queen's home. At times it's difficult to tell whether or not they actually live inside the palace, but the maids and watchers are a stern reminder that they indeed are.
The location is covered with a plethora of flowers and plants, each arrangement beautiful in its own way. There are paths to walk through and view them, but careful- if you step too close, you may be caught by the wrist, and reprimanded to refrain from touching anything.]
Day - but didn't get this far til evening.cake_and_dreamsJanuary 8 2011, 05:18:53 UTC
Rather shell-shocked, the young Count wandered through the gardens. The view was beautiful, but the whole thing felt quite like a dream. He refused to believe he was really here.
When he had first awakened, D had spent a long time staring at the mirror in his room before managing to pull himself away long enough to explore the house, then the road outside. The gardens had stopped him, however, had drawn him in. The Count stopped at a particularly beautiful bunch of roses quietly observing the world around him. The wave of emotions washing through him were powerful, and it was difficult to maintain control and not get dragged under by them.
After going her separate ways with Allen, Yako had poked around some more, and finally stumbled upon the luxurious gardens. For a moment, she atared, wide-eyed.
Oh, wow.. she thought, unknowingly broadcasting her amazement. It's so...pretty here. There wasn't anything like this back in her city; the closest thing would be forests, who weren't half so breath-taking in comparison. Even the people are prettier here. she mused, glancing at the count and mistaking him for a native because of his composure.
That was... weird. D straightened and turned, looking around. He could have sworn he had heard a voice in his head. Who's there? he asked, rather shocked when the words did not come from his mouth.
What... what was going on here?
His eyes alighted on a cute young lady, finding her looking at him. He tried to speak again, and again, the words didn't come. What is going on?
[The waves are warm and comforting when you reach them, as the sea breeze blows by when you pass. The sand crunches beneath your feet, and you can hear the laughter of children in the air. Here is a place of relaxation, of rest and happiness. Here you can do whatever you like, so long as it doesn't bother anyone else in the process.]
Night; Naminé - Kingdom HeartsrewritetheskyJanuary 8 2011, 05:28:15 UTC
There was something wet at her heels. And from what she knew, or thought she knew, wet wasn't in the equation.
Sand and water were at her feet, causing a confused expression to come over her face. This wasn't where Axel wanted to go was it? To Destiny Islands? But, no, that wasn't right. It didn't feel like the islands, and the landmarks that she had always viewed in Sora's memory weren't present. No Paopu trees around either. So, another world then? But why would Axel lead her here? What was this place?
Glancing around with nervous eyes now, Naminé tried to take in her surroundings as best she could, trying hard not to panic by squeezing onto her sketchbook. Maybe one of them was still around, even if there was no sign of Darkness in this natural darkness of the night. It was worth a shot at least.
Except that when she opened her mouth to call their names, nothing came out.
A hand was at her throat, having tried again to speak and discovering again that it failed. Trying to hide the panic from her face had become a difficult task. Did the Darkness somehow effect her negatively this time? Naminé didn't really have much experience with them as the other Nobodies, but she was still a Nobody, and if others weren't affected then why would she be

THE FORBIDDEN PATHSseafrontedJanuary 8 2011, 05:15:40 UTC
[While it may look harmless, this place is heavily guarded. For what reason, it isn't said. For those that pass by, they give a worried glance over their shoulder before trying to move away as fast as possible.
If you prod one of the guards well enough, he'll tell you this is the last seen place of the madman known only as "The Exile". The taint is far and wide, and lest they wish for anyone else to start thinking like the barbarian, it is highly suggested you move along your way. Pay no attention to what you see here.]
NIGHT ⇥ ASSASSIN'S CREED: Malik Al-Sayf.truncatelyJanuary 8 2011, 05:33:43 UTC
[When he had awoke the darkness had descended all around him. Dusty upon the path his feet had stumbled and suddenly the place he woke was not the realm in which he expected. Certainly he had been relocated yet had he fallen asleep since his arrival? The question was there but no answer could linger in the night air as he took in a breath then released, the sound close to silence catching the breeze of the evening. It was not often that one such as himself found his footfalls so misplaced that the world around him seemed unfamiliar, such choices were left for the degenerates that consumed too much of the drink and stumbled out into the deserts arms, left to wander aimlessly till found or never found again. Still, what immediately came to mind was that he certainly was not alone, certainly as the path was lined and occupied by men seeming to guard the path. Guards, he tended to avoid, tended to keep wary of and to his own space the dai traveled, darkened gaze taking in the surrounding area that held no familiarity within its aesthetic

[ While chains main bind and inhibit the body, the mind is seldom so easily inhibited. Entrapped as he may be within the depth of the Vendicare, Mukuro traipses through minds and dreams as easily as one might decide to go for an after dinner stroll. Night caresses him like an old friend, and blindly he wanders, as much a victim to the circumstances as anyone trapped within themselves could be; it is amusement and curiosity that take him arm and arm, his companions through this midnight trek.
Quietly reveling in the texture, the feel of everything (it is almost like being awake, being solid and once more mobile), so real this dream is one could almost mistake it for real. With barely a glance at the guards keeping watch over the road, he steps light and quick down upon it, seeing only one other in front of him, taking in the posture, the gait, and keeping pace placidly behind, almost on the verge of the other's heels, and close enough to be uncomfortable. ]

[The sound footsteps behind him caught his attention as there was something different about them asides the steps of the guards that lay in wait along the edges of the pathways littered throughout the lands. It caused him to straighten his posture a little more and clench his fist at his side, his face tighten with a narrowing of his brows as he exhaled another breath, thoughts turning over and over within his subconscious on how to treat the situation. The dai could simply continue on his path and ignore whatever or whoever trailed closely behind him, he could move in a aggression and he could move in a more passive state but despite the situation, there was a creed to remember and follow, on that he respected completely and utterly despite the ordeal before him and quite the ordeal it was
