Who: Rapunzel, Dawn, and you!
What: Rapunzel and Dawn let lots and lots of lanterns in the air
Where: House 10's roof, anywhere else
When: May 5th, evening
Warnings: Fluff and pretty pretty lights everywhere, just everywhere.

[The lights definitely are a beautiful sight, so much so that Kurt wants a better look. So, what better place to get it that in the garden. He spies Blaine and walks over to him.]

I'm not really sure. [Blaine smiles at him, softly. He moves to make room for Kurt in the bench.] But it's beautiful.

[He takes a seat next to Blaine and looks up at the night sky. He really wishes he could get a better look at the lights. Then, of course, this place being what it is, he feels a weight in his lap and lo and behold! A pair of binoculars. He's never really going to get used to that. He holds the binoculars up and sees exactly what the lights are.]

They're lanterns!

Dawn all but beamed at Rapunzel, holding her lantern in both hands. If anything could help cheer people up, she was sure this would be it, admiring the glow of the lantern against the fading sky. "I'm totally ready!" She laughed, turning her face skyward. "You go first."

Rapunzel took a deep breath and closed for eyes. As she opened her eyes, she set her lantern free and up into the air. It looked so lonely up there by itself, but already it flooded her memories with thoughts of the first time she saw them.

She quickly runs to garb another one, waiting for Dawn to send off her own.

Moments after Rapunzel let her lantern go, it was joined by Dawn's, glowing in the dim light. Dawn laughed and hurried for another herself, grinning like a fool. "Two down!"

"And a bunch more to go!" Rapunzel let another go. There was a spring in her step as she kept letting the lanterns float into the sky.

The light in the darkening night sky made Yuuta look up. To see two girls on top of a roof with lanterns didn't surprise him, seeing as lanterns were used in all sorts of festivals and events back at home. They even had ones that floated on the water and an event where there was a contest for the most creative one in the whole city.

Things had been cruddy lately, and the familiar sight of them did cheer him up a bit.

There was a smile on Rapunzel's face as she watched the lights float into the sky. It was just as beautiful as she remembered.

For a moment she looked down and saw a figure there. With a bright smile on her face, she waved down to him.

"HI!!"

Asylum had heard about the lanterns, and the concept had intrigued her - lights? Filling the sky? Giving hope? It was strange and new, and there were moments where she felt like it was something she would enjoy, and moments where she wanted nothing to do with it.

She had considered wandering over to House 10 to get a closer look, but fear of the safety (or lack of) in Promenade kept her rooted to her own house. She sat in front of the building, eyes cast upward in anticipation. As she spotted the first one in the sky, her hand shot up as if in an attempt to grab the floating light. It stayed lifted for a few moments before falling lifelessly to her side as she continued to stay focused on the lights.

Pretty. Bright. It was strange, but it wasn't unpleasant. She sighed, closing her eyes as she let the shining image burn in her mind.
