It took a little longer than he expected, but Ky arrived at the place without much trouble. He walked in, greeting the owner and politely refusing the offer for a drink. He wasn't keen on drinking while on duty, even if he wasn't officially on duty. He wasn't officially anything, not in this city, but he felt the need to do his part anyway. To help others when he could, because he had the ability. It was the least he could do.

Ky skimmed the area for Angela, recognizing her by her unique hair color. He approached.

"Excuse me," he said, gently so that he wouldn't startle her too much. "Are you Miss Angela?"

Oh, thank Goddess, someone pulled her out of her thoughts. She looked up to find the person she'd been talking to not long ago standing in front of her, asking gently if she was Angela. She put on a smile and nodded. "That's me."

She shifted a little in her chair attempting to get comfortable. "Sorry, if it's inconvenient talking here. I just... I don't feel that comfortable saying all this stuff where everyone can read it and know it all came from me."

"It's understandable," he said, waving off her apology. He took a seat at her table, across from her. It was probably for the best anyhow, for her own safety.

"How are you feeling?"

"A little... detached. No pun intended." She stirred her drink a little, still smiling, though with considerably less cheer. "I've been through a lot over the past year, but this... Recovering from something like this is definitely new."
