What: Zinc comes to bug Kelly

The chalkboard outside Land's End has none of the usual bright advertisements about today's specials on it. It's been wiped clean, and CLOSED has been scrawled across it instead. The lights inside the restaurant are dim, only a few illuminating the bar and the glowing fishtanks, though with the huge windows on one side, it's hardly dark inside. The door is propped slightly ajar, but that's more for staff or friends who might pass - Kelly, wandering between the bar and his back office, is ready to turn any customers away.
He's supposedly doing a stock check, counting through the fridges in the kitchen and behind the bar, but it's really a convenient excuse for him to work his way through his third beer. Keeping busy was meant to be a good distraction, but it was hard to stay busy in Promenade, and he wasn't willing to join the festivities outside. He notes down the number for bottles of tonic water and takes another drink of his beer.
