New seven world wonders announced

They're not really surprising - the Great Wall of China, Petra, Brazil's Statue of Christ Redeemer, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Colosseum in Rome and India's Taj Mahal - though only 3 were in my final list (the Great Wall, Petra, & the Colosseum). I'm a little irked by the inclusion of the Statue of Christ the Redeemer over, say, Stonehenge or the Easter Island statues (or if they wanted something more modern, the Arecibo telescope or the VAB?). I think someone stacked the vote.
