1. Nope. Did see the flood rise while we were traveling but managed to get to dry land soon enough.

2. Since I was home in Laguna and I had internet, I collected all the info that randomly came my way in a blog post and shared it. Also collated the statuses of the people I know and how they're doing during the flood which Mr. Bibat eventually turned into the AME wiki.

3. Nope. I was in Los Banos and the only relief effort I saw here were the ones asking for donations to be sent to Manila and those that asked for money. I couldn't do either because I don't really have that much extra supplies with me and because I left my wallet in Manila. \o/

4. FFFF didn't know just collecting info would be depressing and stressful.

1. We're you directly affected by the flood brought about by Ondoy? If yes, how? If no, do you know anybody personally who suffered from it's effects?

Yes. First floors of both adjoining houses were flooded quite high and trashed. Still have stuff that are in the process of being dried out. Oh, and was stranded at the office overnight the night the storm hit.

2. Being a member/alumni of UPAME, how did you respond when the storm hit? Could you state precise examples of how you responded?

I didn't respond in any way in or related to the context of being an AME alumni.

3. Did you participate in any relief effort in your community? Why/Why not?

No. I had my hands full. I will be trying to do something for my senior editor at work, who lost everything. I hope I can also do something for Boom, though... :/

4. How did this disaster affect you personally?

Lots of things lost, but thankful we survived and no one I knew died... at least... Also a lot of time lost. Had to take time off from work for a whole week.

1. Yes. But not in a devastating way. The area in front of our house was completely flooded but only a few inches got into our house. My brother was stuck in his therapy place for most of the day until the waters receded enough for them to drive home.

2. We got panicky. We started moving things to higher places. Damn sofa is damn heavy sofa ;A; We unplugged all the electronic stuff and made sure our cell phones were fully-charged. Prayed the rosary too.

3. I'd like too, but my parents won't let us out of the house lest there's a sudden flood of some sort.

4. I was depressed for a few days after reading/seeing what happened to the other people who weren't as lucky as we were.

BTW, Hope you don't mind if I add you to my friends list 8D
