I will never figure out why I am part of some of the most ridiculous ed communities on livejournal. They're fun to read at times, but sometimes I'd really like to punch these ana worshiping idiots in their jaw. What disgusts me the most are people hoping to "get" an eating disorder or get "tipz." Back when I was in an SI community a few years ago, a girl came in asking for how to cut, how to hide it, etc. I was so fucking pissed, I ranted at her and just left the comm. I feel like these kids can get away with it more in the "ana" community because the results of these disorders (being thin) are desirable, while scars etc. are generally considered not to be. But to me, they're the same sort of bullshit.
