That awkward moment when you've spent six hours writing 1600 words for mini_fest, decide that your initial draft is finished, reread it.... and hate it. Literally get to the end of it and say, "Yeah? So what?"

OMG! That's exactly what I did last night. I was so proud that I had so much finally written. And then I was so mad at myself because it sounded like garbage and as though I had rushed through it.

I'm banging my head against the wall right along with you...

My mini fest entry might just have to be shit this year :(

Oh, misery loves company. Glad I'm not the only one :p Although I'm sorry that you have to bang your head, too. *hands you aspirin* (I literally have a headache right now.)

My issue with mine is that it just doesn't say anything! I know what I want it to say... *sigh*

I'm throwing in the towel for the night, and if I get some time, I'll get back to it tomorrow and see if I can tease some meaning out of it.

Good luck with yours. There's little more frustrating than investing so much of yourself, only to have it turn out like garbage. At least we still have some time.

It's looking a little better to me today, so we'll see what happens. Although I'm also at the "let's tweak it just a tiny bit... enough to make me have to redo THE WHOLE THING" point, LOL... but I'm not letting myself touch it until tomorrow. I'm letting it stew.

Any progress on your end?
