Just beautiful. Honest and mature and a perfect portrayal of them both. I think your writing resonates so much with me because I feel like the show's characters spend so much time together and throw so many *words* at each other that they (and we) don't need tons of explication and dialogue to communicate. You tell me more through the way one character simply moves, stands, breathes than pages of back and forth and canon rehashing ever could. Does that make sense?

Also, your writing has the lovely mixture of being both hot and heartbreaking, and the added bonus of being exquisitely constructed.

Thanks so much for writing this. I'd love to see more for this beautiful little post-JJ world you've created here.

And while Reid is definitely a talker, I think he and JJ have lovely, quiet moments between them, and I like to capitalize on them a little bit.

Quiet Reid is my favorite Reid. And the way you write them, JJ *gets* Reid in a way that means he doesn't feel compelled to fill the silence with chatter. It's just beautiful.
