I'm usually a sucker for all things newer and better, when it comes to technology, but computers I've always felt that the longer you can keep one operational, the better.

But my old one was just at the point where even if I'd fixed all the problems it had, it would likely just broken down again sooner rather than later. Plus, the OS was so old I was starting to have problems with updating programs.

Good thing I'm finally starting to settle in with the new one. It's really rather like breaking in new shoes, 'cept with more hassle. :D

Yeah, I watched it today afternoon, and holy shit. AAAFFSSJFGHGUH! :my initial reaction.

I mean every other guy on the show has shown off their framed jerseys and/or medals, and Mikko shows that? LOL indeed.

Oh no! So sorry to hear it! My computer died in February of 2012 (just a catastrophic hard drive failure), and it's just bad news when it happens. If you're looking for a new PC, I'd recommend IBM/Lenovo - I've had pretty good luck with their laptops. If you'd like a Mac, the new MacBook pros are great and you can run Windows on them. Good luck!!!
