You're psychic - I just attacked ALL the links in your post. My favorite has to be that first cracky take on the epilogue :D I have a feeling I'm going to be reading a lot of post-war H/D fic, seeing as everyone else I could possibly read about is dead.

- You know, I didn't even mind that so much of the book was the trio's grand camping adventure, although I did miss the other characters. But I think it worked, because the reader felt just as isolated fro the "real" world as the trio did, which made it that much more brilliant and sad for us when they tuned into Potterwatch (AWESOME STUFF) and finally made it to the Room of Requirement.

OMG YES EXACTLY. and potterwatch was FUCKING AMAZING. i cannot express my love for potterwatch. LS:JDF.

AHAHAHA of course the remus scene went like that! you write it just as well as JKR in my opinion. i laughed, so there's that.

- I actually really liked the way Kreacher's psychology was dealt with. JKR has new and improved powers, I think, because she suddenly made house elves interesting and tragic in DH. How is this possible, I ask you?

That moment was so, so, so desperate *sob* It was so sad that after all his revulsion and confusion and frustration about Harry, in the end that's all stripped away and meaningless, because all Snape really wants to do is look at Harry and connect one last time to what he loves ;_____;

I DO feel the Malfoy love! But not in the same way as 95% of fandom, probably. Or maybe I'm just dumb, and the rest of fandom saw their potential way ahead of me :D

Hahaha, someone got trampled?! Awesome. We had 4 separate, orderly lines on each floor of borders and everyone was very...sedate.

I don't understand some of the wank that's going on. Some people want to murder JKR okay so I had a little twitch that I wanted to take care of when I found out Tonks & Remus were married but it was like gas! It went away! for the book and all. It was pretty idiotically scary.

Don't you just love HP wank? Other fandoms consider writing the author/creator, but HP actually wants to MURDER HER :D Oh boy. I'm steering clear of the hate for now because I loved the book so much, but I did find one Harmonian wank where the person insisted that since JKR had cruelly abandoned her characters, it was the Harmonians moral and civic duty to re-write the entire series the PROPER way. Perusing Harmony boards is so FUN, omg. I quote, H/Hr is like Dumbledor. It will only stop once people are no longer loyal. " AHAHAHAHA WHAT. And this is hilarious.

Also, Malfoy is going to be bald by the time he's 30.

it took me a while to get the magnitude of the h/d subtext in this book, if only because i kept hoping till the very end draco would join the good side and i dunno SHAG HARRY SENSELESS or sth, y'know? (great expectation, wot? :p)

but now that i realize how much worse it could have gone and after i've had a few minutes days to read fandom's reads, i realized i'd been a bit too deluded and am, consequently, SO FREAKING HAPPY!
