As with Reborn that has numbers to represent a pairing, Pokemon has a far more complex system of shipping that absolutely makes no sense (to me) and are also a handful to type, but since I will be a good fan I will try my best to get the hang of it.

XD If we could have a simpler system, I'm sure we'd all jump on it eventually ('shipping is a shiny toy; it'd take a while to leave). That list is a pain in the butt to handle, update, compile, dig up, hunt down, and add to...or so I've heard. The webmaster's hell when she's on her way to updating.

And to explain the Frantic/Hoenn thing, generally they aren't considered the same. ^^; People keep the manga and games/anime separate, since May doesn't act anything like Sapphire, in game or in the anime.

From a labeling POV, something like Lance/Kris is fine. But if you're actively searching it, ^_^;; googling your pairings isn't as easy, and won't get you every gem. These days, the names just made it /so/ much easier to find things if they're labeled so. Search engines snap them up like cake. That way, people will find it more easily.

XD Oh those, the 13 Gary/hand 'ships. They're fun. And /old/. Like, pre-Orange League!old. You'll find plenty of weird crud on the list.

Ah yes...searching. Dx Unless you narrow it down to Pokemon, perhaps, but it's still an annoyance to get through all those pages. Lol, I agree. 8D (Yet even with it's really random search stuff, I'm still very fond of google. -coughnotreallycough-)
