If you don't know who I am, I probably don't want to talk to you.

[Ooc] ... So. Drop a message here either for Rita or the mun. Please indicate if OOC or IC, and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you.

Why, hello, Rita dear~
I have a bit of a proposition for you, if you care to hear it~
[And yeah, that's all he's saying, because he loves to be purposefully vague.]
Reply
[He just chuckles and lets her go off on his tangent, listening with an amused expression. Really, he's curious to see her thoughts. After a while, though...]
...Hm~
[Snap!
...That will be him breaking the sucker loudly with his teeth.]
Well, then, Rita~ Fair is fair, no? Perhaps you should share some thoughts of your own~
Reply
[Oh god the snap. It's brought her back. Have an annoyed glare.]
Yeah, yeah. Like you planned this to be fair in the first place.
But whatever. Three possibilities.
One: If growth is not a factor in the equation, aging will not take place in this dimension. I'm going to guess that the cells are going to be in some sort of stasis, or at the very least, they're not dying nor undergoing mitosis. Corollary: those who eat will age.
Two: If growth is not a factor in the equation, we are not in a set dimension. Rather than Somarium being a world on it's own, it's a different plane of existence separate from 'dimensions'.
Three: If growth is a factor in the equation, Somarium is a dimension where certain laws of nature and physics are not applicable. This will require further investigation.
[Paaause.]
Got a problem with any of it?

I am hurt by your low opinion of me!
[He has some trouble following the especially scientific parts; for one, he had never heard of half the terms she used. He does't show it though, and he understood enough.]
Hm...
No, I do believe your logic is sound.
[Smirks a little.]
As for certain laws of nature not applying to Somarium...I would have thought that that was quite obvious.
Reply
Hurt? Huh. And here I thought idiots were impervious to pain. You learn something new every day.
And it's my logic. You can bet it's sound.
[Oooh that smirk. >( We are so not amused right now.]
To you, maybe. But I wasn't so quick to write off all possibilities. Though let's hear it: what did you notice that gave you proof that certain laws weren't being followed?
Reply
Dear me~ Such hurtful words, Lady Rita!
[He loves how much this little action can provoke her. So have a larger smirk.]
Let me ask you this, then...Do castles normally float in your world?
Reply
Call me that again, and I'll give you something to hurt about.
[Okay. Next time, it's voice-only. :/ This is going to drive us insane.]
... Can't say they do. But I'm still willing to propose a scientific explanation for it. Just because the things here do things that we've never seen before doesn't mean it can't logically happen. The possibility is, and will always be there.
Reply
Is that so? Well, I fear I shall have to avoid calling you that in the future, then, Rita dear.
[xDD He will find ways to drive her crazy nonetheless.]
...And Death? Have you a logical explanation for how one can come back from the permanent in this world?
[Pauses and adds thoughtfully]
Mm~ ...But yes...There is always a possibility...isn't there?
Reply
[Oh gods he would. It's like playing 'how many times can we get Rita to head-desk before brain damage'. :/]
... I was just getting to that, okay? So maybe I don't have a proper theory in set, but what you said about the reality of it all definitely had the right sound to it. Back in my world, the subject wasn't very well studied, but here's a perfect place to get a few working theories going.
Speaking of which, I don't remember if I've asked you this before, but - do you do any kind of magic?
Reply
Ah~ My apologies, but this is indeed my natural hair color. Much like I assume that rather bright color of your own is.
It suits you.
[8D Take that as you will, Rita.
And that's totally his new favorite game after the 'drive Gilbert to temporary insanity' game.]
...In your world, death was not well-studied? Curious.
[And he pauses for a very short moment, but then he smirks again.]
And how do you define magic?
Reply
... So you were born old. Figure. You have the old-man look to you. And my hair color is perfectly fine, okay? And they ask me why I wear that hood all the time... Ingrates, the lot of them.
[We will band together against your onslaught! And take our revenge. Hur hur hur. 8D]
We were too busy trying to stay alive, to be honest. But I suppose someone like you would have the time to study things like that. Let's hear it.
And magic? ... Conjuring flames, water, frying things. Direct conversion of energy from source to the direct object bypassing transformation principle. Stuff like that.
Reply
Why, I never suggested otherwise! So very defensive, Rita dear!
[He would so love to see you both try. 8D Gilbert knows better by now, though. ♥]
Dangerous world, then, I take it?
On death? I am afraid there is not much one can truly study on this phenomenon, for typically, once one dies they remain dead, no?
[Yeah, there's a whole lot he's not saying there, but he's covering it up with smirks and some distracting candy-unwrapping.]
...
[Smiles.]
Then no~
Reply
I'm not being defensive.
[Beat us back with his stick, will he. 8D]
You have no idea. Oh. Wait. Chains. Maybe you do. Who knows. And that's only typically, really. I've seen some pretty weird things in my time. Like a blastia through the heart, for instance.
[And we so sense that there's something we're not being told. >( Not amused here.]
Deprived, aren't you.
Reply
Oh, I apologize. That would be my misperception, then. Such a reaction was perfectly normal, I am sure.
[Got that right. Or, you know, the sword he keeps concealed in that stick. 8D]
Perhaps, perhaps. Danger is so very relative, after all. And so is strangeness.
[Yeah, after everything he's seen, it would take a lot to surprise him.]
[And here, have some more one word answers.]
Quite.
Reply
Next time, keep your misconceptions to yourself, okay?
[... Do we get a choice? D:]
Relative to what? If you use individuals as judgement, you'll never get anywhere. There must be some kind of a standard.
[She actually thinks someone that's never seen a blastia before is kinda... sad.]
... I should show you sometime. I'm pretty sure you could use a new hole.
Reply
I shall make an effort.
[Read: I'm not going to do anything of the sort.]
Ah, but fear is very much an essential to defining danger, and fear is quite singular to the individual, wouldn't you agree?
[Shrugs.]
Regardless, how dangerous our respective worlds are is rather irrelevant.
[xD Poor Rita. And he smirks, completely unruffled.]
Ah~ But I have no need for more holes in my body, thank you. I suppose I shall take it that you are a magic user, then?
