Hey, did I tell you about the time I got dumped via txt msg? When I was in Yellowstone, no less, and didn't have the reception to maintain a phone call.

It was sorta a new relationship which is why I'm not really doing super-bad... it just hit me at a bad time.

One guy broke up with me by telling my best friend (when she bumped into him in town) that he was there with his girlfriend. *I* was out of town at the time.

At that point he just stopped calling etc completely.

He emailed me over a year later to apologise and admit he'd been a bastard. I didn't deign to reply.

Some people are just jerks whom we are better off without. Still, I'm sorry you had to endure this at what sounds like a bad time ANYWAY.
