Seeing the dumbfounded look on the guy's face when I responded with "Actually, it's been about twenty hours so far, and it's not done yet" was entertaining, though.

Hate people that know nothing about tattoos but try to be 'cool' and talk crap about them like that. Hate hate hate hate.

My tribal *anklet* took two hours, and that was with the guy working as steadily as he could to make sure it got done in a reasonable amount of time. (And it hurt like a sonofabitch, too, to do it that fast.)

Two to three hours for an entire arm. *kills the infidel dead*
