Today was a lovely, lovely day.

I went down to the UWS this morning and spent a while sitting on the steps of the Museum of Natural History, chatting with a charming woman from Sweden while she picked out a stone and I made it into a pendant for her. Monsieur Torres himself is doing a demo at the Chocolate Show this weekend. Want to go?

I'm contemplating the show, actually, but Amy and I need some time to unwind after the past few weeks, and it wouldn't be much fun for her, poor thing -- she's allergic to most chocolate.

Please do! Maybe it will embolden me to try them. My brother in California is a big foodie and is always telling me about the curry truffles and all. Yet he has not sent me a box of them, the cad.
