2 of the album tracks are almost done. i heard one today, and almost shit my pants. i had no idea it'd turn out like it did. i can't wait for everyone to hear it.

in the meantime, a good version 'Kentucky Moon' from one of the last Dame gigs....

I see where you guys are opening for Virginia Coalition later this month, at The Dame.

How long does it take to mix an album?

yup, we're opening for VACO on the 26th. that should be a lot of fun!!

as a whole process, we've been working on mixing for just a little bit. the whole recording process has been going on for a couple of months. there's still some overdub/layering type things to finish. since we're doing it ourselves, we've been taking our time, and working slow. we've tried to let things sit for a while, then come back to it with a fresh perspective. for instance, 'Chicago Smile' was almost done a month or so ago, but we put it away, and just came back to it. i'm terribly excited though!!

Have you thought at all about going on The Rock Boat in September? The girl to boy ratio is like 3:1 easy. I have a friend who has a 3-person cabin that she has reserved, but won't be using. She'll actually be staying with two other girls in their cabin.

hey, nice to hear from you! i still use this thing from time to time, not too often anymore.

i've already been in touch with Jamie about the reunion. should be exciting! a lot of people i haven't talked to in years!! i can't wait!

yeah, i didn't use mine too often until I started staying at home with my kids...LOL serious decline in social life...haha i do some work over the internet & am taking online classes again....so i end up taking quite a few breaks from that on LJ.

i know what you mean....there's alot of people I haven't seen since graduation. like YOU! haha it's so hard to believe that was almost 10 years ago. scary actually! next thing we know, it will be 20.
