I can't say that I support this. Livejournal in no way owes free accounts, especially ad-free ones, to anyone.

Read it again. That's one of rather many issues that they've done lately. Don't just focus on one. It's also how they did what they did.

Has an attempt been made to address these issues? What has the advisory board done? Do they have the ear of the people in control, or do they feel like the door's been shut? Has every other route been tried, before us trying to show that WE ARE POWRFULZ0R by a boycott?

I have to admit, the method they've chosen for this is a pet peeve of mine. Internet-organized temporary boycotts generally irritate me.
