Update since I never do
The Starbucks job ended up being seasonal due to a lack of hours.
And I did officially prove that I earned my degree, and I was accepted for my research degree at University of Stirling. I'll be starting as soon as the paperwork is finished. -
Me + Starbucks = love
I got the position at Starbucks. They called me up this morning and I get to do in tomorrow to do paperwork and start my training. I'm sleepy right now, but very excited :D -

My visit to Occupy Glasgow
I have my hippie roots, both in my general left-leaning demeanor and a tone honed by living in the very liberal university town of Eugene, Oregon, USA. Suck update
I'm posting this from the university wifi outside a building with my phone.
Why?
1. My home Internet/TV plan was cancelled (badly timed planning)
2. My phone is restricted until I pay.
3. Starbucks Internet was not working.
4. I can't get into the university library anymore (no longer an active student) and the public library is closed.
