Today was my day at the Maryland Renaissance festival. The weather was just perfect, which means it was a bit dreary and rainy. Not only did the weather make me happy, it also prevented it from being packed. The traffic is normally blocked for roads close to the faire and today everything was clear ( Read more... )

I'm so glad to hear that they are keeping up Ye Olde Tradition of frying candy bars. :) Sounds like you had fun! I totally missed our local ren faire, since it was during my 60 hour 6 day a week work rush.

The one here is long. It's every weekend from the end of August to early October.

And it's a very important food tradition. And went well with the man ogling.

I'm hoping to get it soon now!
