How pretty! I grew up in Michigan, and I really miss the seasons living in Phoenix. It's a dream of mine to spend an autumn in New England some day.

This year was certainly the year for brilliant fall colors here. However, most of the leaves have dropped in our area now. You will have to come for a visit some fall.

The colours are still so bright in your woods. Those are maples, right? Like Gloria, I grew up in Michigan and miss the changing seasons so much here in Spain. We just don't get that gorgeous burst of colour down here. They do farther north, though. What are those tiny red leaves under the ferns? They look like miniature maples leaves. Virginia Creeper?

They are maple leaves. I love our four season climate here, although winter is more than long enough.
