Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudocanon.

1. Ratchet is part of a four-person bonded group with Ironhide, Wheeljack and Perceptor. Each of them came into the group being primarily over Ratchet, and then slowly gained familiarity with his other lovers. Of the group, he is also the one with the most outside lovers not mated to the group; most prominent among these is First Aid, who probably would've joined the group at some point were it not for his discovering, falling in love with, and bonding two other mechs toward the end of the war. Ironhide was his first lover; they knew each other as sparklings ( ... )

1. Galvatron was created as a slightly-warped copy of Megatron by a subspace anomaly encountered by a small number of Decepticons and Autobots (ironically enough, in an area of space named the Unicron cluster, believed by some theologians to be the place where Unicron was exiled by Primus). All the Transformers present passed through the anomaly, disrupting it, and it separated them into two and three of themselves, catching on aspects of their consciousness and personality and changing them slightly, along with moderately altering their appearances using images borrowed dreamlike from their memories. The copies were grouped together, ejected from the anomaly at different locations than the originals, who departed unknowing ( ... )

1. Skywarp and Thundercracker became Starscream's trinemates simply by flying up to him and falling into formation with him as they fled into space at Cybertron's destruction. Starscream's own wingmates had been killed, had died in front of him, and between that and the destruction of his homeworld and being reminded of Skyfire's disappearnace, he had been slightly mad with grief, and was frantically looking for his wingmates and for Skyfire, terrified of being alone. Skywarp and Thundercracker, meanwhile, were low-ranked warriors and, being sparkbonded to each other, had not yet clicked with any one other Seeker enough to form an official trine. They flanked the Air Commander as a duty, guarding the higher-ranking lone flyer, and as an act of compassion, but when the Decepticon forces regrouped, Starscream invited them to stay, because the emotional connection had already been made, by them being there for him when he needed someone. Megatron was very surprised, and many other Seekers were jealous or annoyed at such low-ranked ( ... )

1) Shockwave was one of the Military High Command answering to Lord High Protector Maxitron at the end of Sentinel's reign. He was the Defense Commander and also Lord Maxitron's second-in-command, and expected to be his successor. When both Sentinel and Maxitron were killed, however, the Matrix passed to Optimus and Optimus' brother became the Lord High Protector instead. Shockwave accepted this, as he had no emotional bond with the new Prime as he'd had with the old; a brother was more suited to the office. Still, he'd always wanted to hold that position, and when the war started and Megatron became leader of the Decepticons, Shockwave stepped happily into the role of Megatron's Protector and enforcer, fulfilling all the duties that he would have done for Sentinel Prime. He shared various aspects of the Protector's second-in-command role with Starscream and Soundwave, but in his own spark and processor it was he who stood at the Decepticon leader's side, as Megatron had once stood by Optimus Prime's ( ... )

Motormaster was separated from his brothers in a chaotic battle which resulted in the Decepticon forces fleeing in many different directions and then being deployed elsewhere. Upon realizing this after a long stint in the med bay, Motormaster stormed up to Megatron and ordered him to recall everyone, and when Megatron refused, decked him. Megatron said he would overlook the insubordination because he knew how it felt to lose a brother, but if he could handle losing his to the other side of the war, Motormaster could handle a mere physical separation. It was over a thousand years later, when everyone collected on Earth, that the Stunticons were reunited. Motormaster had always loved his brothers and feared losing them, but had never been good at expressing that love properly; the pain of loss proved to be an excellent teacher, however, and when they returned to him he was much more careful and affectionate in his dealings with them ( ... )
